League Results Round 23 30th August
A 10 mile personal best for Will Baugh on the Brimfield course last night was rewarded with the Castle Cup –awarded to fastest Ludlow CC 1st Claim rider, and which consolidated his now unassailable 1st Claim league position. Will’s 22:31 placed him 6th overall more....

in a competitive field, with riders travelling from Hereford, Worcestershire and across Shropshire to take advantage of one of the few events left in the season. Simon Ward’s (LBRT) 21.17 put him in first place overall on the night – and confirmed his 1st place in the All Comers league.
First rider home in the Road Bike league was again Logan Mort in an impressive 22:42 – and Lee Monk’s (Pearce Cycles) 24:15 leaves him needing just 14 points to take top spot. This league has been very successful in its first year, and the tussle for the top has been intense – early leader Rich Dyke has been unfortunate in the last few weeks to be carrying an injury which has let Lee in to challenge for overall winner.
Another injury, this time to Ludlow Junior Matt Tilson whilst playing football, meant that Junior club mate’s Will Hint’s 24:28 gave him the win on the night – and secured him best junior of the season position.
Emma Hadley (Hereford Wheelers) was first woman home. Full details on the Results page.
